loved the stylish Scandinavian decor, peaceful garden, and friendly owner. Breakfast was amazing. Exceeded expectations after my previous stay in Giethoorn.
Noisy guests in kitchen and banging doors.

During my Christmas stay, I really enjoyed the beautiful location of the hostel. It was in a quiet area and had a lovely garden where I could relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. the beds were also very comfortable and provided a good night's sleep. the breakfast offered a wide variety of choices and was outstanding.
One drawback was the lack of a comfortable hangout space, such as couches or lounging area. the only option was the kitchen, which was quite cold during this time of year.

The location of the hostel was absolutely perfect for our romantic escape. It was situated right in the heart of the village, making it easy for us to explore all of the attractions and restaurants on foot. the hostel had a beautiful garden where we could relax and enjoy the sunny weather. It was the ideal spot for a cozy picnic or just lounging around in the sun. Best aspects: the hostel rooms were clean and well-maintained, providing a comfortable and pleasant stay. the beds were especially comfortable, allowing us to get a good night's sleep after a long day of exploring. the hostel had a fully equipped kitchen, which was great for preparing our own meals and saving some money during our trip.
the first was that the rooms were a bit noisy, as we could hear the sounds from the neighboring rooms and the hallway.

I had a fantastic time staying at this hidden gem in the heart of a picturesque village. The Black Sheep hostel exceeded all my expectations. The location was excellent, with convenient free parking and a peaceful atmosphere throughout the day. I was able to easily rent a cheap boat right next to the hostel, allowing me to explore the beautiful canal waterways of this charming town. The staff, particularly Gea, were incredibly friendly and helpful. Gea even went out of her way to arrange a taxi for us and offered to provide us with food and coffee for an early check-out. The hostel was clean and comfortable, with a simple but delicious breakfast of freshly fried eggs. I highly recommend the Black Sheep hostel for an unforgettable stay in Giethoorn.
